AIDIMA, Industrial Research Association in Furniture, Wood and Packaging, is a non-profit making organisation. The main aim of AIDIMA is to transfer innovation and RTD to the Spanish wood, furniture and packaging industry due to increase production and product quality. AIDIMA has actually 750 associated SMEs in Spain. Actually AIDIMA has a permanent staff of 120 people, 85 researchers and 35 administrative and technical personnel.

AIDIMA has several laboratories and research facilities grouped in the following areas:

  • Wood technology, raw materials and components
  • Finished furniture and joinery
  • Packaging and transport
  • Information technologies
  • Sectorial information and training
